Day Seven: Down the Fond du Lac 7/25/2004

With the prevailing weather conditions (wind in our faces) it is surprising we covered as much distance as we had, but there we were on the morning of our seventh day, heading off down the fabled fabulous Fond du Lac River. The skies lifted in the afternoon and we found ourselves under clear skies enjoying the river. After running Red Bank Falls, Chris and Bella headed down the bay to observe an enormous bull moose while the rest of us were content to try our luck for grayling below the rapids.
We made a comfortable evening camp near an old burn area just below a small set of rapids.
